Group Discussion on Gender-Based Issues

 

A group discussion was conducted on Gender-Based Issues on 16th December 2024 at 2 pm. Participants actively engaged in discussions, sharing perspectives, experiences, and possible solutions to address gender disparities and challenges in society.

                          

Screening of animated Video on Gender Equality

 

An animated video on Gender Equality was showcased to the participants on 10th December 2024. The video aimed to educate and spread awareness about the importance of equal rights and opportunities for all genders.

Pledge Against Gender-Based Violence

 

As part of the Nayi Chetna 3.0 campaign (an Annual National Gender Campaign with the goal of 'Advancing the agency and rights of women and gender-diverse individuals of intersectional identities by addressing structural barriers for a life without fear, discrimination and violation based on gender' ) our college organized a pledge-taking ceremony on the topic "I Am Against Gender-Based Violence” on 26th November 2024 at 9:30 am at the general hall . Dr. Aswathy K S faculty coordinator of the college women development cell administered the pledge, encouraging participants to stand against gender-based discrimination and violence.

 

                                                 

WDC AWARD-DISTRIBUTION

Prize distribution by WDC 2023 - 2024

       In Assembly, College Principal, Prof. (Dr) Ampili Aravind gave away the prizes for students who one first & second places in various competitions conducted by Women Development Cell in the last academic year.

        WDC teacher cordinator, Prof.(Dr) Seema Menon K P, presided over the function. WDC executive committee member, Greeshma welcomed the gathering. All the B. Ed & M. Ed students of the college participated in the function.
