Conducted a program "ഗോപികക്ക് സുധീരയുടെ ഒരു കൈ സഹായം.." to handover the money collected through food festival (conducted on 29/11/2017) for the treatment of Gopika who  suffer from liver disease and need an immediate surgery. The money was hand overed by principal Dr. Lakshmi. K. Nair to ആറ്റൂർ പൗരസമിതി members (Sri. Prasad- president, Sri. Ratheesh - secretary and Sri. Balan- member)

ഉപ്പും മുളകും......

Today we conducted a prestigious food festival "ഉപ്പും മുളകും". Our beloved principal Lakshmi teacher inaugurated the function. There was 8 food stalls arranged by each class.

Inauguration of women cell of NSS Training college (2017-2018) held on 24th October 2017. Dr.P Geetha( Retired Malayalam Professor of Govt. Sanskrit college ,Pattambi) in the presence of principal in charge Dr.Ambili Aravind.

Agenda:

• Formation of women cell(2017-2018)

• To elect the executive members, and the student coordinator.

            The first meeting of the women cell, 2017-2018, was held at the seminar hall at 1:15 PM on 26-09-2017.Staff coordinator Dr. Chitra L, staff advisor Mr. Suresh Kumar was the chairman of the meeting. Suresh Kumar sir spoke about women cell’s previous activities and goals. Ms. Bhagyalakshmi V elected as the student coordinator.

            In today’s society where violence & brutality is aggravated by women, a detailed discussion of the needs of the women cell  in the colleges and the activities that have been conducted annually. This year’s inauguration will be on 24-10-2017.

The meeting ended at 1:30 PM.

Health awareness class

A health awareness class was organised for B Ed and M Ed students under the auspices of Women Cell "Samanwaya" on 3.2.2017 at college auditorium. Dr.Deepthi, Gynecologist from West Fort Hospital Thrissur led the session on the topic "Streeyum Aarogyavum". The doctor during the interaction session after the class clarified the doubts on health related issues raised by the audience.
